Lauren Foster-Lee’s love of performing began at a very young age. An avid storyteller at home, she often played practical jokes on her younger brother and mimicked the “funny” details of church (on days where she wasn’t called out for being too rowdy…you know…the life of a pastor’s kid).  She began acting outside of the comforts of family at the age of 10 when she tagged along on her father’s audition for a local play. A little shy when not around family and friends, the director let her read along to have a little fun, ended up casting them both and as they say, the rest was history.

Lauren studied theatre and vocal performance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning a BA in Theatre. Lauren has gone on to perform in numerous productions, stage readings and special performances.  One of her most treasured performances includes performing in Durham, NC 150th closing ceremony.  Lauren currently serves on the stakeholder board of Mettlesome.
